Vineyards - The 2016 Riesling was sourced from 3 blocks across the
Eden Valley region, all with unique soil types and growing conditions.
The Springton block provides floral tones, the Eden Valley block lime and structure and the Angaston block style and steelyness.

Winemaking - The grapes were whole bunch pressed and cold settled for 24hrs before being racked to ferment. All wild yeasts were used and the wine fermented very cool (10 degrees) to lock in the fruit characters.
After ferment the wine was stored on lees for 2 months to provide
richness on the palate before being bottled. This is a stlye made to drink now or cellar for 5-10 years to let the beautiful secondary characters of Eden Valley Riesling to develop

Tasting Note

Colour - Bright and lively with green hues

Nose - A lifted, aromatic wine showing perfume and limes with a slight toasty, creamy character from careful use of wild yeast and lees contact.

Palate - Classic Eden Valley lime and floral notes with hints of jasmine and lemon blossom balanced with natural acidity. The middle palate shows lovely creaminess to balance the steely nature of cool climate Riesling. The wine has a lingering fruit driven finish
